We are now looking for responsible and tech-savvy problem solvers who want to work as seasonal mechanics or game technicians at Gröna Lund. Read more about the roles below:

Seasonal Mechanic

As a seasonal mechanic, you will perform daily checks on all attractions in the park and ensure that they are safe and operational for the day. Tasks include minor repairs and lubrication. Work at heights may occur. The job is very independent while being part of a team of about 15 people. Through your cheerful and service-oriented demeanor, you create conditions for our guests to have a fantastic experience. Working hours are between 05:00-12:00, and you will work both weekdays and weekends.

For this role, we are looking for someone with a technical high school education or equivalent. It is advantageous if you are studying at a technical university/college for mechanical engineering, automotive mechanics, mechanical engineering, or similar. Previous experience in technical work and working at heights is also a plus.

Game Technician

As a game technician with us, you will work with our technical equipment in our gaming units. You will handle the startup and daily checks of our 5-game competitions and lucky wheels, as well as perform maintenance as needed. You will have a lot of contact with other employees at Gröna Lund. We are looking for someone with basic electrical knowledge and a completed high school education in electrical/mechanical or equivalent. You preferably have ongoing or completed post-secondary education focusing on electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or mechanics. Working hours are variable and divided into day and evening shifts, both weekdays and weekends. For this position, you should be interested in mechanical and electronic systems. You enjoy working in a team and like to provide good service to both guests and other employees. It is advantageous if you have previously worked in customer service.

To thrive in the roles of game technician and seasonal mechanic, you should be tech-savvy, enjoy challenges, and like solving problems. You are also service-oriented, self-driven, and motivated to work proactively as well as respond to perform repairs during the park's opening hours.

More information about the positions

Both positions are seasonal employment, during the period of April – the end of September. Employment will begin in April, May, or June. Some positions run throughout the season, while others run only during peak season, i.e., until mid-August. Since we also operate during Halloween, there are good opportunities for work during that season as well.
